ADW Developments is composed of a vibrant team of professionals hailing from different countries of the world – we’re proud to say that each member of our team brings a valuable, unique set of expertise that sets us apart in construction economics consultancy.
Anthony is a construction economist with a passion to help clients reach resource efficiency and lowest life cycle cost solutions for the built environment. He sits on the ISO TC59 committee responsible for development of high-profile international standards that assess building performance. His career path includes being the Head of Economic Modelling at BRE, Head of Research at MACE, and Service Leader for Life Cycle Costing at Arcadis. As a Director, Anthony has overseen the expansion of ADW’s service portfolio to cover impactful facets of built environment consultancy including Demolition and Refurbishment audits, Security Needs Assessment, and more.
Expert in Life Cycle Thinking
Harish is the resident ‘Life Cycle Thinking’ expert at ADW. He has successfully contributed to ADW core services that include LCC, LCA, Material Durability, Functional Adaptability, and Building Climate Resilience. His core competencies include use of LCC/LCA frameworks to ‘calculate, report and reduce’ building carbon footprints, while demonstrating value for money of design and specification alternatives. Use care scenarios have included whole life cost and carbon asset portfolio studies, achieving ‘net zero carbon’ targets & green building rating system requirements. Harish also sits on GRIHA’s (India’s Green Building Rating System) Technical Advisory Committee’ for its new manual update ‘v2019’.
Expert in Cost Surveying and LCC
Sanjayan is a quantity surveyor and Life Cycle Costing expert. Prior to joining ADW, his work included project cost planning for many projects across the EU, US, Australia, and Southeast Asia. At ADW, Sanjayan is responsible for quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and life cycle cost modelling.
Expert in Security Consultancy
Ken is a chartered security professional with a passion for built environment security design. He is a current director of the Association of Security Consultants (UK) and is involved with the BRE-led industry-wide adoption of the SABRE security certification. Ken is a Suitably Qualified Security Specialist (SQSS) with a record of successful consultations that include security guidance for Art Council England and BREEAM.
Expert in Circular Economy
Katherine is a Circular Economy specialist with a passion of consulting construction projects to be environmentally cleaner and to achieve high levels of waste diversion from landfill. Her career path includes shaping BRE’s and ASBP’s guidance on construction waste management and the development of the BRE online consultancy system, Smartwaste. Katherine has a PhD from Loughborough University on how Circular Economy can be embedded in the building sector.
Expert in Pre-demolition Auditing
Toby is a pre-demolition and construction materials specialist. His past projects include developing sustainable construction training guidance for the Energy Savings Trust and leading the University of Cambridge’s ISO 4001 implementation as its Environmental Officer, which included options appraisal for waste management and recycling of different waste streams.
Marketing & Communications Specialist
Simon is the resident Marketing & Communications expert at ADW. Responsible for market outreach, his career path includes managing the communication for ‘The Government’s Home of 2030’ programme and creating communication outputs for BRE’s biophilic office programme. He has previously worked as a marketing professional at BRE.
Expert in Programming and Databasing
Ribe is the resident programmer and IT expert at ADW. He is an expert in software engineering and databasing systems, having developed ADW’s digital LCC and LCA database infrastructure. He contributes to ongoing service development at ADW.
Expert in Data Science and Visualisation
Ravindra is the resident Data Visualisation and Data Reporting expert at ADW. He is responsible for developing advanced reporting solutions for clients including visualised data, analysis, and dashboards. His successes in visualisation is exemplified by the stellar reviews given by our clients.
Waqar is a Researcher at ADW. He is a sustainability warrior with a primary role of contributing to the development of new service offerings and to enhance existing services at ADW. Waqar has led on the development of our Material Durability and Climate Change consultancy service offerings. He is also engaged with on-going business development and client feedback initiatives.
